Zones:
The zone limits are shown on the maps below. The maps are helpfull to estimate the price for the pilotage. The invoice will be based on the actual milage.
*Two deep sea pilots will board for distances above 250 nautical miles from January 2010 on. This ensures a continues bridge watch at all times. The new tarif 2010 includes this new 2-pilots-rule.
Travel expenses:
Travel expenses will be charged additional to the pilotage dues. Expenses vary due to availability.
Over night expenses:
Hotel costs will be charged based on the the hotel invoice and can vary.
Waiting time:
A waiting charge will apply, if a deep sea pilot cannot disembark the vessel within 6 hours after the arrival of the vessel.
The charge is 330 € per day.
Daily allowance:
A daily alloance will be charged for each 24 hours return traveling time according to No. 5 of Appendix 2 Part IV of governmental-made pilot tarif [196 KB]
